Twitter for sale: Who gets to buy it – Google, Verizon or Salesforce

CBNC on Friday reported that Twitter has moved closer to being sold. According to CBNC’s sources several technology or media companies are interested in acquiring Twitter.  It seems like Twitter could be receiving a formal bid soon. Twitter seems to be interested in selling just after it failed Wall Street sales expectations during the first and second quarter of this year. Its growth also seems to have stagnated.

Some of the companies interested  in buying Twitter are Google, Verizon and Salesforce. These potential buyers have different reasons for wanting to purchase Twitter but whatever their reasons, we can agree that the purchase will definitely be a very great asset to whoever  gets it.

Google and Verizon most of us know. Salesforce a lot of us do no  not know. Salesforce is a cloud computing company that services business. I guess that is why you don’t know it.

After the news broke out Twitter’s shares have increased by 20%.
